HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

I decided to try out some of the embroidery stitches on my handy dandy sewing machine!

I decided to sew some purses and pouches out of fabric I hand painted.  To do this, I used fabric painted, rubber stamps (that I carved), wood stamps, stencils, freezer paper and a gel pen.  There were no rules – just play time.

The purses and pouches were created from patterns I designed.

Quilt of Valor

This Quilt of Valor was made by our family, for our father (and grandfather) to honor him and show our appreciation for his service as a fighter pilot in WWII.  Quilting by: Laura Lee Fritz.
